This is my take on the Stamping 411 sketch #165 here.
My Elegant Lines textured impressions embossing folder FINALLY arrived today so I had to play!
I started with a card stock base of Soft Suede. I ran a piece of Baha Breeze thru the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines folder. I also used the Big Shot Scallop Circle #2 die to cut the Soft Suede scalloped circle. I used my Coluzzle to cut a piece of the Soft Suede Elegant Soiree DSP. I stamped the bird and some circles from Always in Baha Breeze on Very Vanilla. The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede on the top of the "my friend" stamp from Perfect Punches. I used the Curly Label punch to punch that, trimmed it and added a Soft Suede piece punched with the Curly Label punch. A piece of retired Soft Suede polka-dot grosgrain and a retired Baha Breeze button finish it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Always, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Perfect Punches
Papers: Very Vanilla, Baha Breeze, Soft Suede, Elegant Soiree DSP
Inks: Baha Breeze and Soft Suede
Accessories: Curly label punch, Scallop Circle #2 die, Elegant Lines textured impressions embossing folder, retired Soft Suede polka-dot grosgrain, retired Baha Breeze button, Coluzzle
Very lovely card...wonderful color combo!
