I made this bright birthday card for the Stamping 411 sketch#193 here.
I started with a base of Melon Mambo textured card stock. I used some DSP, Quick Accents and 1/4 inch grosgrain printed ribbon from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP & Quick Accents Pack and Ribbon & Button Pack. I colored in the stamp from On Your Birthday with my Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point Stampin' Write markers. I matted that piece with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive card stock. Finally, a Pacific Point flower button was threaded with a strip of Daffodil Delight and adhered with a glue dot.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: On Your Birthday
Papers: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Ice Cream Parlor DSP
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Pacific Point Stampin' Write markers
Accessories: Ice Cream Parlor Quick Accents and Ribbon & Button Pack, glue dot
I love that patterned DSP. Pretty combination...and looky at all the layers on your focal point to mirror the dsp. Beautiful job!
