Here's a bridal shower card for three challenges.
First, it's for the sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches#575 here.
Second, it's for As You See It#293 here. It's a Recipe in Pinks & Pearls to incorporate the following: distressed paper, blossoms, pearls, shades of pink and embossing folder. I distressed the DSP a bit with the edge of my scissors. The rest of the elements are pretty obvious!
Finally, it's for the Global Design Project#383 here. It's a Theme Challenge of Spring. There's some spring flowers with spring-like colors. And a spring-like occasion: bridal showers!
Happiness Abounds is the stamp set with some Hues of Happiness DSP.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Happiness Abounds
Papers: White, Melon Mambo, Hues of Happiness DSP
Inks: Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam
Accessories: Basics 3D embossing folders, Basic Pearl Jewels, Stylish Shapes dies, Layering Circles dies, Stampin dimensionals
I love those bold pinks on the flower and so lovely on the patterns and textures in the background. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully coloured rose, Jennie, and that DSP you chose is stunning with it! I love all the texture you get with that embossing folder! Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Jennie - love the contrast of the mebossed card against the pink dsp. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenge!
