I was so excited to be picked as the Featured Artist for the As You See It#309 here.
So that means I'm the Guest Designer for As You See It#311 here! It's a fun holiday challenge to include a holiday, embossing folder, ribbon or twine, die cut and patterned paper!
I'm going with a Christmas card using the Merry Bold & Bright Suite. It has the Merry & Bright stamp set and dies, White 1/2 inch Iridescent Ribbon and Merry Bold & Bright DSP. I've also added the Christmas Tidings Embossing folder.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Merry & Bright
Papers: White, Poppy Parade, Merry Bold & Bright DSP
Inks: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Blueberry Bushel
Accessories: 1/2 inch White Iridescent ribbon, Christmas Tidings embossing folder, Iridescent Adhesive-Baked discs, Scalloped Contours dies, Stampin dimensionals
So fun, Jennie - such a great take on our recipe! This bright dotty paper is one of my faves, and I think I better get that EF while I still can, lol. Thanks so much for guest designing with us at As You See It!
ReplyDeleteJennie, what a bright and bold Christmas creation! How could it not cheer anyone who received it? Thanks so much for guesting with us. It's a pleasure to have you join us, whether as a guest or in the gallery. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour DSP is a very bright background and the way you added the embossing part was a great idea. It softens the background just enough to enjoy the rest of the card.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jennie! We are happy to have you joining us! This card is bright, bold, and a feast for the eyes! Those polka dots really make me happy and give you such great colors to use in your sentiment! Love!
