Clean and Simple Christmas Trees

I love the naturalistic effect of the background trees! How did you add the color to the trunks?
I stamped the trees in Old Olive then used a blender pen to remove the ink from the centers where the trunk would be. Then I used a chocolate chip marker to color in the trunks. Thanks for the nice comment
