Happy Cake Day

This birthday card is for two challenges.

First, I've used the sketch at Sketch Saturday#769 here.

Then it's for As You See It#341 here. It's a Recipe Challenge to include celebration theme, heat embossing, ribbon or twine, pastel colors and punch or die.

I thought of the Wildflower Birthday Suite.

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: Birthday Celebration

Papers: White, Pretty in Pink, Soft Seafoam, Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP

Inks: Versamark and Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Birthday Celebration dies, Party Dots, Metallics WOW! Embossing powders, Birthday Celebration dies, Stampin dimensionals

Love this, Jennie! You chose so many of my favorite things from this DSP - I always have a hard time using the die-cuts, and I'm trying hard to break out of that. I love what you did with them here! Great way to play with the sketch - wish I had though of that! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!

This is just SO pretty! I love that layout: the sentiment tumbling down the page from the cake looks super! Thanks for sharing it with us at As You See It. :-)

This is such a well-balanced design, Jennie! I love the paper you've chosen and the way you decided to use the sentiment words to replace some of the shapes. You made great use out of all the challenge elements. Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges.
