I made this bright birthday card for the Stamping 411 sketch#193 here.
I started with a base of Melon Mambo textured card stock. I used some DSP, Quick Accents and 1/4 inch grosgrain printed ribbon from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP & Quick Accents Pack and Ribbon & Button Pack. I colored in the stamp from On Your Birthday with my Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point Stampin' Write markers. I matted that piece with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive card stock. Finally, a Pacific Point flower button was threaded with a strip of Daffodil Delight and adhered with a glue dot.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: On Your Birthday
Papers: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Ice Cream Parlor DSP
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Pacific Point Stampin' Write markers
Accessories: Ice Cream Parlor Quick Accents and Ribbon & Button Pack, glue dot

I love that patterned DSP. Pretty combination...and looky at all the layers on your focal point to mirror the dsp. Beautiful job!
Great job with the colors here Jen. I'm so glad you played along this week.
Love the fun, springy colors and all of the extras you added to really make it pop!
Great job, Jennie -- love that you took the time to put the different colors on the stamp with markers. Such a nice touch that makes such a big difference! Thanks so much for playing along this week at Stamping 411! Blessings, Gretchen
