Happy Birthday Brady!

It's my nephew's, Jack and Brady's birthdays this weekend so I need to make their birthday cards. They're bright, happy, funny, loving 11 and 9 year olds and it should be fun celebrating with them!  This card uses the PPA#192 here. Really quick and simple with the Bring on the Cake stamp set and some Fresh Prints DSP.

Birthday Card for a PPA Color Challenge

This birthday card uses the PPA Color Challenge#178 here. The colors to use are Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer Starfruit. Not any colors I would have chosen, but I really like how this one turned out! I guess that's why they call it a challenge, right?

For the color challenge#272 here, at Create With Connie & Mary I cased a card by the super-talented Mary Brown here. I used the colors for this challenge, So Saffron, Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry and also used the Bring on the Cake and Create a Cupcake stamp sets. And there's a bit of the Brights DSP Stack.

I need more birthday cards so I cased this really cute card here by Dawn Olchefske. I saw  this card by Penny Smiley and had to make one with my own touches. I used the Splitcoast Color Challenge#394 here. The colors to use are Not Quite Navy, Pacific Point and Sahara Sand.

I paired the papers with the stamp set, Bring on the Cake and used the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack on the Whisper White piece cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

New In-Colors Available Today!

One of my favorite blogs to visit is Simple & Sincere by Jen Sannes. I was inspired by this card to make my own that showcases some of the new In-Colors: Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse. I ran the Gumball Green and Midnight Muse thru the Big Shot with the Houndstooth embossing folder to add some texture.

A Birthday Card for the Stamping 411 Sketch

Long time no post! I had my first craft fair on Sunday and I haven't gotten down to my stampin' space. But I need to send my niece's birthday card, so I made this with the Stamping 411 Sketch#229 here.

The base is Concord Crush. I ran some Melon Mambo thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dot embossing folder. I added papers from the Cheerful Treat DSP. I punched the Concord scallop circle with the 2 3/8 inch Scallop Circle punch and the 1 3/4 inch Circle punch was used for the Whisper White circle. I stamped the cupcake from Create a Cupcake in Mambo, Concord and Lucky Limeade and used the Cupcake Builder punch to punch them all out. I popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals. I stamped the greeting from Bring on the Cake and colored it in with Melon Mambo and blender pens.
