Another Splitcoast Challenge Card

Here's another Splitcoast challenge card. I used the Splitcoast Color Combination#358 here. The colors to use are Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette and Rose Red.  I thought it's also a fun way to show you can use the Circle Circus set for a Valentine's card too.

Flirtatious Product Suite

Here's a sample using goodies from the Flirtatious Product Suite. In the new catty there are pages showcasing different "product suites", in that each have stamps, papers, fabric and embellishments that all coordinate perfectly!
This card was made using the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #52 here.
The base is Melon Mambo card stock and then I added some Pumpkin Pie card stock. On a piece of Whisper White I used the Delicate Doilies and Circle Circus stamp sets with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie Classic Stamp pads. Then on the right I added some DSP from the Flirtatious Specialty DSP. I also added a Melon Mambo laser-cut doily from that DSP. In the center I added a Pumpkin Pie Flower Brad and popped up the doily with Stampin' dimensionals. Finally, a piece of 3/8 inch Whisper White taffeta ribbon finishes if off.

PPA#94 Bright Birthday

I made this birthday card for the PPA#94 Sketch Challenge here. The base is Crumb Cake card stock and I added some Melon Mambo. I ran a piece of Crumb Cake thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions embossing folder. I ran the Tempting Turquoise pieces thru the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. I punched out three Turquoise pieces with the 1 3/4 inch XL Scallop Circle punch. I stamped the image from Circle Circus twice, once in Melon Mambo and once in Pumpkin Pie, trimming them down. I punched holes in all the scallop circle pieces with the Paper-Piercing Tool. I inked the frosting from Create a Cupcake in Crumb Cake and the bottom in Pale Plum and punched them out with the XL Build a Cupcake Punch. I also used the punch on some Red Glitter paper and Old Olive card stock for the cherry. Behind the cherry I punched a Whisper White piece with the 1 1/4 inch Circle punch and a Real Red piece with the 1 3/8 inch Circle punch. Finally, I stamped Happy Birthday in Melon Mambo.

PPA#79 Thanks Card

This is my try at the PPA#79 Color Challenge here.  After I made this card and took the picture, I realized I'd used Pear Pizzazz instead of Certainly Celery! Oh well, close enough, right?
The base is Rich Razzleberry and I added some DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I then cut out a Pear Pizzazz card stock and DSP from the DSP Pack In-Color, and Whisper White Top Note with the Big Shot. I trimmed down the Whisper White and DSP pieces. I stamped the images from Circle Circus in Riding Hood Red, Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz. I also stamped "thanks" from So Happy For You in Pear Pizzazz and punched it out with the Curly Label punch. I added a Rich Razzleberry Glimmer brad to that piece. Finally, some 1/4 inch Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.

A Quick Card

Today I make a card using one of my favorite Designer Series Papers, Love Letter. It was a quick one and barely any stamping.
I started with a Basic Black base. I added the three different patterned papers from Love Letter DSP. I stamped the image from Circle Circus twice, once in Basic Black and then Riding Hood Red and cut it out. I popped each of them up with Stampin dimensionals, then put them onto the circles punched with the 1 inch circle punch. I added some 5/8 inch Very Vanilla grosgrain and it was done!

Clean & Simple FTL#104 Circle Circus Birthday

This is a card for the Clean & Simple FTL#104 here.
I'm really digging this blog and the great sketches!
So I started with a Concord Crush card stock base. I stamped the images from Circle Circus in Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade. I ran the Blushing Bride piece thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dot textured impressions embossing folder. Happy Birthday from On Your Birthday was stamped  in Concord Crush, punched with the Word Window punch and layered onto a Concord Crush piece punched with the Modern Label punch. I popped that up with a Stampin dimensional. A piece of 1/2 inch Concord Crush stitched-poly ribbon finishes it off.

Splitcoast Color Challenge Loads of Love

This colorful card was done for the Splitcoast Color Challenge #279 here. The colors are Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist. I really like this color combo!
So I started with a card stock base of Wild Wasabi and ran that thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Details textured impressions embossing folder. I used Circle Circus to stamp my own background paper by stamping the circles in Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist. I stamped the truck from Loads of Love in Basic Black and the man and dogs from Loads of Love Accessories too. I colored that in with blender pens and Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip Classic Stamp pads. The sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler, punched out with the Small tag punch and layered onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler punched with the Large Tag punch. Finally, a piece of 1/8 inch Marina Mist taffeta finishes it off.

Occasional Quotes Anniversary Card

Here's an anniversary card I needed to make for my sister-in-law and her husband. I used an old Stamping 411 sketch, #153 here for my inspiration.
I did use four new colors, Occasional Quotes, a Level 3 Hostess set and new taffeta ribbons.
I stared by running Early Espresso card stock thru the Big Shot with the Square Lattice textured impressions embossing folder. I then stamped circles from Circle Circus in Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist. I used those same color Stampin' write markers to color in the stamp from Occasional Quotes. A bit of Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist card stock behind the Whisper White make it pop. Finally, 1/8 inch Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso and Marina Mist taffeta ribbon finish it off.

Final Sweet Pea Card

Today is officially the last day of Sweet Pea DSP cards. So I combined challenges for this one.

It's for the Splitcoast sketch #278 here, and the PPA#40 Monochromatic Blues Challenge here.

This came together really fast cuz I just traced the square sizes onto the card stock and papers then cut them out. I stamped the circle piece from Circle Circus in Taken with Teal then punched it out with the 1 inch circle punch. A Taken with Teal piece behind it was punched with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch and popped up with Stampin dimensionals. "Get well wishes" from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Taken with Teal, punched with the Word Window punch and layered onto a Modern Label punch.

MOJO#125 Thank You

This thank you card was made with the MojoMonday sketch #125 here. The papers are from the Sweet Pea DSP stack and the stamp sets are Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I stamped the flowered circle image twice, once in Pumpkin Pie and then in Taken With Teal. I cut out two of the Pumpkin Pie flower images and adhered them over the main image. I then punched that out with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch and layered that onto a Taken with Teal piece that I cut out with the Coluzzle. Thank you was stamped in Pumpkin Pie on a piece punched with the Curly Label punch. A piece of Pumpkin Pie 1/2 inch striped grosgrain finishes it off.

PPA #15 Color Challenge

Here's one for the PPA#15 color combination here. The colors are Ruby Red, Taken with Teal and Basic Gray. I thought of these colors and thought they'd make a good masculine card. So I used the Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes sets. I also ran the Basic Gray thru the Big Shot with the diamond patterned Backgrounds 1 texturz plates. The strip of Ruby Red is from the Hostess Patterns Pack DSP III.

I needed something bright for my MojoMonday sketch challenge. So I decided to use the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Papers. The circle punches are an awesome tool to make quick projects.

A Sketch and Color Combination 2 for 1

It's a Two for Tuesday! I combined the MOJOMARIA sketch here and the Splitcoast color combo here to make this card. This week there is a new sketch every day at Mojo Monday to celebrate their 100th. And the color combo at Splitcoast was Close to Cocoa, Taken with Teal and Very Vanilla. I used the Stampin' Up Top Note Bigz die and ran a piece of Taken with Teal and Very Vanilla thru then trimmed down the Vanilla according to the little perforation lines. You gotta love the Circle Circus set and I obviously love Teeny Tiny Wishes because I reach for it all the time! Here's my recipe:

Playing with Papers

I'm just enjoying making cards with some new papers I ordered from the '09-10 Idea Book and Catalog. These papers are from The Write Stuff Specialty papers. They're a little different in that you get 2 sheets each of 3 double-sided designs then 3 die-cut sheets of coordinating designs.

I think this card could be used for just about any occasion-just stamp what you need on the inside and you're good to go.
