Sympathy Thank You Card for Two Challenges

Yet another thank you for two challenges.

First, the sketch is for TGIF Challenge#207 here.

And the colors are for the Global Design Project#185-Monochrome-Any Color of Your Choice, here.

I went with purple, using both Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

Colorful Seasons and Kindness & Compassion are the stamp sets with some Gingham Gala 6 by 6 DSP.

I also used the Seasonal Layers Thinlits that coordinates with the Colorful Seasons stamp set.

Different Christmas Color Card for a Splitcoast Challenge


This non-traditional Christmas color card is for the Splitcoast Color Combination#716 here.

The colors to use are Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz.

I ran the WW card stock thru the Big Shot with the snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, embossing them rather than cutting them out.  Then I sponged the three colors over the card stock.

Snowflake Sentiments is the stamp set.

Two for Tuesday Card

Here's a two for Tuesday card for a sketch and another challenge.

First, the sketch is for Case this Sketch#291 here.
And second, this is for The Paper Players#412-Tic Tac Toe Challenge, here.
I chose the column down of leaves, ribbon, die-cut.

Colorful Seasons is the stamp set with the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits. I also ran the Crumb Cake cardstock thru the Pinewood Planks embossing folder for some texture.

Triple Challenge Christmas Card!



I managed to fit three challenges into this card!

First, the Global Design Project#116 here. It's a case the designer and I took the sketch for my card.

Second, the colors are from TGIF Challenge#136 here. It's a color challenge to use Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Gold.

Finally, the Stamp Ink Paper#128-Let it snow, here.

I used some Year of Cheer Specialty DSP and sponged Cherry Cobbler ink to the white parts.
The snowflakes are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.
And the stamp set is from the November 2017 Paper Pumpkin Back in Plaid kit.

Happy 25th Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 25th Anniversary so I had to make a card! It's been an incredible journey together with a great guy and I couldn't be more fortunate for him, our three children and all our family and many friends! Here's to 25 more!

I used the Splitcoast Color Combination#653 here for this card. The colors to use are Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie.

Blue Snowflakes for a Merry Monday Challenge

This card is for the Merry Monday
Challenge#251 here, Monochromatic Blue.
I was inspired by the sample in the new catalog on page 146 and just changed it up a bit.

The greeting is from Santa's Sleigh and the snowflakes are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Also used a bit of the Color Theory DSP.

New Catalog Sneak Peek Goodies!

My 2017-2018 New Catalog pre-order arrived today and I had to play!

I used the new 2017-2019 In Colors and did some water coloring. The new In Colors are Powder Pink, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist(in order of appearance).

I also used a new stamp set, Colorful Seasons, and the coordinating Thinlit, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, for the flower.

And there's some new ribbon, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist 1/2 inch Finely Woven Ribbon.

Finally, this card uses two challenges.
First, the sketch at the Global Design Project#086 here.
And second, the SUO Challenge#174 - Water coloring, here.
