Two For Tuesday!

A favorite of mine is to combine challenges, and this one is for a sketch and a color challenge.

First, the sketch at Sunday Stamps#178 here.

And then the colors are from Splitcoast Color Combination#686 here.
The colors to use are Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black.

Flower Shop (retiring) and Thoughtful Banners are the stamp sets.

Also used some Pick a Pattern DSP (retring).

Two for Tuesday Card

This card is for two challenges- love it when I figure out how to combine challenges!

First, the sketch is for Case this Sketch#268 here.

And the colors are for the Splitcoast Color Combination #684 here.  The colors are Tranquil Tide, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum.

Flower Shop and Lots of Love are the stamp sets and they're both going to retire.So is the color Sweet Sugarplum and the Pansy punch is retiring too.

This card uses the Can You Case It#133 here.
It's a color challenge to use Greens, Yellows and Neutrals.
I thought of this DSP from the Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP.
I paired that with the Flower Shop and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets.

Thank You Cards for Mom


I finally got back to stamping today after a few long and emotional weeks. My Mom passed away 10 days ago from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. I'm fortunate to have helped care for her a couple days a week and cherish all the time we had together. My heart goes out to all caregivers out there! And can't say enough thank you's to nurses, aides, doctors, Hospice and more that helped take care of Mom and our family.
 
Here's just the beginning of many thank you cards we need to send to our wonderful families, friends, co-workers and more. We have such a great support system and are so very thankful for everyone.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch#211 here. And paired that with the Splitcoast Color Challenge#555 here. The colors to use are Soft Suede, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. I think it's a little sign from Mom in heaven that she's looking over me because purple was her favorite color! Love you Mom!

Colorful Card for Two Challenges

This card was made for two challenges. First, the Stampin' Celebration #84 here-back to school. And second, the Splitcoast Color Challenge#490 here. The colors to use are Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Pool Party. I used the Flower Shop and Great Greetings stamp sets. I thought the colors are very "elementary" and used the alphabet flower stamp. This would be a perfect teacher card!
