Pink Christmas Card for Two Challenges

Here's a Christmas card, with non-traditional colors, for two challenges.

First, I've used the sketch at The Spot#138 here. 

And then it's also for the Global Design Project#268-Case the Designer, here.

I focused on the pink color and the embossed background, also using the same stamp set, Peace and Joy.

Then there's some Peony Garden DSP, Plaid Tidings DSP and some Subtles 6 by 6 DSP.

Christmas Card for Two Challenges

Thanksgiving is over, now the Christmas preparations kick in!! I still need to make more Christmas cards so here's one for two challenges.

First, I've used the sketch at The Paper Players#518 here.

And then the colors are for the Splitcoast Color Combination#819 here. The colors to use are Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce. 

This sketch made me think of using up some scrap DSP and the Trimming the Town DSP. I've also used some Regals and Subtles DSP.

Peace & Joy is the stamp set.

Thankful Card for Two Challenges

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Even though this year has definitely been a challenging one, I have so much to be thankful for!! So I made this card to share that I'm grateful for so many people and things! I truly believe one's attitude is so very important in getting through things, especially this year!!

Winter Wonderland Christmas Card

This card is for the November theme challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown-Winter Wonderland, here.

I was inspired to re-create this awesome card by Mikaela Titheridge here.  I kept the same layout and basic colors, just added some Plaid Tidings DSP and some extra embellishments.

Whiskey Business Birthday for Two Challenges

This birthday card is for two challenges.

First, I've used the sketch at the TGIF Challenge#290 here.

And then I've used the colors at the Splitcoast Color Combination#818 here. The colors to use are Cinnamon Cider, Real Red and Purple Posy. 

I needed a birthday card for an Old-Fashioned loving friend and thought these colors would be great, adding a touch of feminity.

Whiskey Business is the stamp set with some Regals 6 by 6 DSP.

I water colored the background with the ink colors and the new Water Painters.

Second, the colors are for 52 Card Christmas Throwdown here. The colors to use are red and green so I chose Real Red and Shaded Spruce.

Finally, it's for The Paper Players#517 here. It's a Clean & Simple: Hooray for the Holidays challenge. This card is really clean and simple with some papers, stamps and ink!!

And then it's for the inspiration photo at Just Add Ink#531 here. I was inspired by the colors and the pom poms of the trees and it made me think of circles.

Joy Card for Two Challenges

This Joy Christmas card is for the TGIF Challenge#289 here. It's a color challenge to use Merry Merlot, Crushed Curry and Garden Green.

And then it's also for The Spot#136-Emboss resist, here.

I thought of Christmas so I used the Peace and Joy stamp set which I had out for yesterday's card.

I stamped the joy sentiment with Versamark on some water color paper, added White embossing power and then heat embossed it. Then I colored it with the inks.
