PPA#71 Birthday Bakery

This is a birthday card for the PPA#71 Color Challenge here. The colors are Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Regal Rose.
Early Espresso is the card stock base and I added some DSP from Deck the Halls. The other DSP in Pear Pizzazz is from the DSP Pack In-Color and the Regal Rose DSP is from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I colored the images from Birthday Bakery with my Early Espresso Stampin write marker and stamped them on Whisper White, punching them out with the 1 inch Circle punch. They were then layered onto an Early Espresso piece punched with the 1 1/4 inch Circle punch and popped up with Stampin dimensionals. All of the images were colored with the Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Regal Rose Stampin Write markers. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso on Whisper White, punched it out with the Word Window punch and layered it onto an Early Espresso piece punched with the Modern Label punch. A piece of 1/2 inch stitched-poly Pear Pizzazz ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bakery
Papers: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, DSP Pack In-Color, Deck the Halls DSP, Patterns DSP Brights stack
Inks: Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Regal Rose Stampin Write markers
Accessories: 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punches, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, Stampin dimensionals, 1/2 inch Pear Pizzazz stitched-poly ribbon

A Birthday Card for Lily

I put away my Christmas projects to make a birthday card for my niece, Lily. I used the Create with Connie & Mary sketch#125 here after I saw a darling card by Carrie Gaskin that used this sketch.  I started with a base of Melon Mambo and added DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for all the stamps from On a Pedestal. The base was stamped in Concord Crush, the present in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie and the top cupcake in Concord Crush and Melon Mambo. Oh, and the candle in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo, punched it out with the 1 1/4 inch Square punch and layered in onto a Melon Mambo piece punched with the Scallop Square punch. That whole piece was then popped up with Stampin dimensionals.I matted that with Concord Crush and added a strip of Pumpkin Pie that was run thru the Scallop Edge Border punch. I stamped the tag from Birthday Bakery in Concord Crush and added a Concord piece punched with the Large Tag punch. I colored that in with Concord Crush, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red Stampin write markers. Then I added a Pumpkin Pie Glitter brad and more Stampin dimensionals. Finally, some 1/4 inch Pumpkin Pie and Real Red grosgrain finish it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: On a Pedestal and Birthday Bakery
Papers: Whisper White, Concord Crush, Melon Mambo, Patterns DSP Brights Stack
Inks: Concord Crush Classic Stampin pad, Concord Crush, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red Stampin Write markers
Accessories: 1 1/4 inch Square punch, Scallop square punch, Scallop Edge border punch, Pumpkin Pie Glitter brad, Stampin dimensionals, 1/4 inch Pumpkin Pie and Real Red grosgrain

Birthday Bakery with a Mojo Sketch

Not too sure if my Mojo arrived with this card. I made it for the MojoMonday sketch #155 here.
I thought of using the DSP Pack-In Color papers right away but couldn't decide on a stamp set. Then I thought of Birthday Bakery cuz it has the tag stamp with the "for you cupcake".
I started with a base of Early Espresso. I added the Blushing Bride and Concord Crush paper from the DSP Pack-In Color. I cut the circles out with the Coluzzle. And I inked up the white one on the edges with Early Espresso. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig and the Early Espresso Stampin write marker to color in just 4 of the cakes. I then used Blushing Bride, Concord Crush and Early Espresso stamp pads and blender pend to color in all the images, including the tag. I punched the tag out with the Large tag punch and then an Early Espresso piece with the XL Tag punch. Finally, a piece of 1/2 inch Concord Crush stitched-poly ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bakery
Papers: Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Early Espresso, DSP Pack-In Color
Inks: Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Early Espresso Classic pads and Stampin write markers
Accessories: Large & XL Tag punches, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Coluzzle, 1/2 inch Concord Crush stitched-poly ribbon, blender pens

PPA#55 Color Challenge Cupcakes

This bright card was created for the PPA#55 Color Challenge here.
We were to use Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise.
I started by running Melon Mambo card stock thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dot textured impressions embossing folder. I ran a piece of Daffodil Delight thru the Scallop Border punch and added some dots with a white gel pen. The striped Tempting Turquoise paper is from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I stamped the cupcake images from Birthday Bakery with the Soft Suede Stampin write marker and colored them in with the Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise Stampin write markers. They were then punched out with the 3/4 inch circle punch and layered onto Melon Mambo pieces punched with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. All three circles were popped up with Stampin dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Melon Mambo and punched with the Word Window punch. Finally, some 3/8 inch Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:

I used the large and extra large tag punches on the Whisper White image, Early Espresso  and Poppy Parade card stock. The Word Window punch was used on the sentiment and layered onto a piece of Poppy Parade punched with the XL Modern Label punch. Some 1/2 inch Poppy Parade stitched-poly ribbon and 1/8 inch Early Espresso taffeta ribbon finish it off.

New Catty Goodies for a MOJO Monday

My order from the new catty arrived so I had to play right away! I used the Mojo Monday sketch #147 here  with a Level One Hostess set, Birthday Bakery and some new Patterns DSP Stack papers.
I started with stamping the cakes from Birthday Bakery in Early Espresso and cutting them out. I colored them all with Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, and Pumpkin Pie Classic Stamp pads and blender pens. They were then adhered to Whisper White squares and Early Espresso squares that were punched with the large 1 1/4 inch square punch. I used the oval Coluzzle to cut out the Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie ovals. The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso. The little cake is on a Pumpkin Pie piece punched with the medium 3/4 inch circle punch and popped up with a Stampin dimensional. That was all layered on top of a Melon Mambo polka dot piece from the Patterns DSP Brights stack. Finally, pieces of Pacific Point were trimmed for the little banner look.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bakery
Papers: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Patterns DSP Brights Stack
Inks: Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie

Accessories: Coluzzle oval cutter, 3/4 inch medium circle punch, 1 1/4 inch large square punch, Stampin dimensionals
