New Papers with Retiring Stamp Set

This card uses a retiring stamp from the Fun & Fast Notes stamp set but new papers from the Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Papers. I also used the MojoMonday Sketch#196 here.
The base is Rich Razzleberry and I added some Razzleberry DSP's from Pocketful of Posies. I inked up the cake stamp from Fun & Fast Notes in Basic Black and colored it in with my Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write markers. I used the Coluzzle to cut the ovals from Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry and popped them up with Stampin' dimensionals. The square is more Pocketful of Posies DSP and matted with Crumb Cake. The 1 1/4 inch Circle punch was used on more DSP and the 1 3/4 inch Circle punch on some Rich Razzleberry. Finally, some 5/8 inch Old Olive grosgrain ribbon that is retiring finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes
Papers: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Pocketful of Posies DSP
Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write markers, Basic Black Classic Stamp pad
Accessories: 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/4 inch Large Circle punches, Coluzzle Oval cutter, 5/8 inch Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' dimensionals

A Mojo Sketch with More Retiring Stuff

I made this card with the MojoMonday Sketch#193 here. I used the retiring stamp set Fun and Fast Notes with some Greenhouse Gala DSP, also to retire.
The base is Chocolate Chip card stock and then I added the Greenhouse Gala DSP. I stamped the image from Fun and Fast Notes in Chocolate Chip and used my blender pens and Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Baha Breeze, Real Red and Pear Pizzazz Classic pads to color it in. I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch on some Chocolate Chip and Daffodil Delight card stock and added a Real Red brad to the center, popping it up with Stampin' dimensionals. Finally, some 5/8 inch Daffodil Delight Satin ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes
Papers: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Greenhouse Gala DSP
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Baha Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red
Accessories: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Brights Brads, Stampin' dimensionals, Blender pens, 5/8 inch Daffodil Delight Satin ribbon

A Baby Card for a Sketch and Color Challenge

This baby card was made for Stamping 411 sketch #186 here, the Create with Connie & Mary Color Challenge #133 here  and qualifies for the SUO Challenge 10, Welcome Baby here.
The colors to use are Baha Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron and Chocolate Chip.
So I started with a card stock base of Chocolate Chip. I ran a piece of So Saffron thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dot textured impressions embossing folder. I used some Pear Pizzazz DSP from the DSP Pack In-Color and tore the top edge. The rectangle of Baha Breeze DSP is from the Elegant Soiree DSP. I stamped the image from Fun and Fast Notes in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White and used the Baha Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron Stampin Write markers to color in the image. I added a Chocolate Chip button that was threaded with a silver of So Saffron.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes
Papers: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, DSP Pack In-Color, Elegant Soiree DSP
Inks: Chocolate Chip Classic Stamp pad and Stampin Write Marker, Baha Breeze, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron Stampin Write markers
Accessories: Chocolate Chip button

SC271 Fun & Fast Notes Get Well

Here's my take on the Splitcoast sketch #291 here.
The card stock base is Melon Mambo and I ran that thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dot textured impressions embossing folder. Then I added a piece of Tempting Turquoise DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I stamped the image from Fun and Fast Notes in Basic Black and colored it in with Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise Classic Stamp pads and blender pens. I stamped Dot Dot Dot in Tangerine Tango on that card stock and punched it out with the 5-Petal flower punch. The middle flower was Tempting Turquoise punched with the Boho Blossoms punch. The littlest flower is from Printed Petals and was stamped in Melon Mambo and punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack. A gold brad was added to the center. Finally, a piece of 1/4 inch Whisper White grosgrain finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes, Dot Dot Dot and Printed Petals
Papers: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, Patterns DSP Brights stack
Inks: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Blender pens, 1/4 inch Whisper White grosgrain, gold brad, 5-petal flower punch, Boho Blossoms punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack, Perfect Polka-dot textured impressions embossing folder

Get Well Card with Sweet Pea Papers

I'm still digging into my Sweet Pea DSP stack.
Here's some more of the cute papers. This is actually a get well card. I was inspired by a card design that I saw in this month's Stampin Success, a publication exclusively for Stampin' UP! demonstrators. I used blender pens to color in the image from Fun and Fast Notes, using Old Olive, So Saffron and Taken with Teal stamp pads. I used the Vintage Labels stamp set "For You" image on the Taken with Teal piece. There's a silver brad from the Vintage brads. And a piece of the 5/8 inch Old Olive grosgrain ribbon finishes off the card.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes, Vintage Labels
Papers: Whisper White, So Saffron, Taken with Teal, Sweet Pea DSP stack
Inks: Old Olive, So Saffron, Taken with Teal
Accessories: 5/8 inch Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Vintage silver brad, blender pen

Vintage Vogue Wedding gift bag and card

Here's another sneak peek from the Occasions Mini and the Sale-a-bration sets. I made this gift bag and card for a bridal shower that I'm attending on Sunday. I took inspiration from the bride's bath towel color on her registry. It's closest to Sage Shadow so I used that with Chocolate Chip and Rich Razzleberry.
The new sets I used are Vintage Vogue (Occasions Mini) and Vintage Labels (Sale-a-bration). The flowers from Vintage Vogue were stamped in the three colors and the sentiment, "Life happens. Love helps" was stamped in Razzleberry. The oval image from Vintage Labels was stamped in Razzleberry and the "Best Wishes" stamped in Chocolate Chip.
The card uses a stamp from Fun and Fast Notes and the Backgrounds 1 texturz plates. I colored the image with blender pens and added a bit of the 1/2 inch Rich Razzleberry polka-dot grosgrain ribbon.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Vintage Labels, Fun and Fast Notes
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Rich Razzleberry and Sage Shadow
Papers: Whisper white, Chocolate Chip, Rich Razzleberry, Sage Shadow, To the Nines Specialty papers, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Backgrounds 1 texturz plates, 1/2 inch Razzleberry polka-dot grosgrain ribbon, 1/4 inch Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, blender pens, Wide oval punch, Scallop edge punch, Stampin' dimensionals

Happy World Card Making Day!

Since it's World Card Making Day I had to make a card. Big surprise, I always love to make cards! I made this one for the Stamping 411 challenge. And it's for my mother-in-law who is having surgery this week. I think the bright colors will cheer her up. I used my blender pens to color in the vase and flowers. And the papers are from the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Papers. Quick and cute. I hope to make lots more cards on this day later.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes and Garden Greetings
Papers: Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Real Red and Pink Flamingo DSP
Inks: Cameo Coral, Real Red and Old Olive
Accessories: Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Edge punch, blender pens

Stamping 411 Congratulations

I'm SO excited! One of the cards that I sent into Stampin' UP for the Stampers Showcase made it to their website on Saturday, August 1st!. It's this card here from my post back on June 22nd. It's nice to be able to share my creations! Now to today's card.

I'm playing along with this weeks' Stamping 411 challenge here. I can't say enough how fun and easy these challenges are yet they always result in really cute cards (in my humble opinion of course)! I used another stamp from the Fun & Fast Notes set. I thought it would compliment the masculine look of these papers. And who doesn't need more "manly" cards?

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes

Papers: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, To the Nines Specialty papers

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Sahara Sand

Accessories: Coluzzle circle cutter, Fresh Favorites II colored buttons(artichoke), Chocolate Chip 1 inch double-stitched grosgrain ribbon
