Quick Christmas Card
Whew! It's been a while since I posted, but I think everyone can identify with the craziness of the season! This quick card was one of the last ones I made this year. It feels great to have them signed, sealed and delivered. This one would also qualify for the SUO Challenge#34 here. I started by running the Real Red card stock thru the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations in Real Red and used the Ornament punch to punch it out. I used the 1 3/4 inch Circle punch on the Whisper White circle and the 2 3/8 inch Scallop Circle punch on the Wild Wasabi piece. I added some dots with the White Gel pen and popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals. Finally, Merry Christmas from Season of Joy was stamped in Wild Wasabi. Here's my recipe:

Holiday Stocking Gift Card Holder

I finally got my order with the new Holiday Stocking die and had to use it to make a gift card holder. Who doesn't need those at the holidays?
I used some Real Red from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack and some of the new Silver Glimmer Paper. For the back of the stocking I used Real Red card stock. I just adhered the two pieces together on the edges, leaving a space in the middle to slip in the gift card. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations in Real Red and used the Ornament punch to punch it out. I attached the ornament and some 5/8 inch Real Red Satin ribbon with a Silver Glimmer Brad.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Delightful Decorations
Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Patterns DSP Brights Stack, Silver Glimmer Paper
Inks: Real Red
Accessories: Silver Glimmer Brad, Ornament Punch, 5/8 inch Real Red Satin ribbon, Holiday Stocking Bigz Die

Christmas Card for a Sketch and Challenge
I made this Christmas card with the Splitcoast Sketch#352 here. And for the PPA#113-Technique-Heat Embossing, here.
The base is Wild Wasabi card stock and I added papers from the Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty DSP. I matted two of them with Real Red. The strip of Wild Wasabi and the circle of Very Vanilla was run thru the Big Shot with the Snow Burst textured impressions embossing folder. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations in Versamark, heated it up and embossed it with Wild Wasabi Stampin' emboss power. Then I used the Ornament punch to punch it out and popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals. I also embossed the greeting from Season of Joy with Wild Wasabi Stampin' emboss power. That was then punched out with the Large Oval punch and layered onto some Wild Wasabi punched with the Scallop Oval punch. Finally, some 1/4 inch Real Red grosgrain finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Delightful Decorations and Season of Joy
Papers: Very Vanilla, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty DSP

This card is for the Clean & Simple FTL#116 here.

I used the Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Stampin write markers to draw the hangers. I also used the Razzleberry Stampin write marker to color just the Peace part of the stamp from All Holidays. Finally, a piece of 1/4 inch Old Olive grosgrain finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:

A Christmas Card for Two Challenges
Here's a Christmas card for two challenges.
First, the Color Combo #293 at Splitcoast here,
and second, Challenge #4 at SUO Challenges here.
The colors to use are Cherry Cobbler, Concord Crush and Old Olive. And the SUO Challenge was to use Fabric, and in my case, I used ribbons.
So I started with a base of Crumb Cake and layered on some Old Olive card stock. I ran a piece of Cherry Cobbler thru the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry textured impressions embossing folder. I sponged some Very Vanilla Craft ink on the snowflakes to make them pop. I also added some Old Olive DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights stack. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations in Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Concord Crush, punching out the center of the Concord Crush one with the 1 inch circle punch. All three ornaments were punched out with the XL Ornament punch. I popped up the Olive one with some Stampin dimensionals. I used 1/4 inch Old Olive grosgrain and 1/2 inch Cherry Cobbler seam binding, folded in half, to "hang" the ornaments. Finally, some more 1/2 inch Cherry Cobbler seam binding was ruffled and adhered over the papers to finish it off.

CAS Real Red Christmas
I'm on a Clean & Simple card kick lately. And since I had a new stampin' friend coming over to get some basic stamping tips I thought I'd show her how to make this card. I think this one also qualifies for the new Clean and Simple stamping feature on Stamping 411 here.
Real Red is the card stock base and I added some Real Red from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations in Real Red and punched it out with the XL Ornament punch. I popped that up with Stampin dimensionals. Merry Christmas from All Holidays was also stamped in Real Red. Finally, I added some Old Olive 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas to all! Hope you're all enjoying the day with family and friends. We're having our family Christmas this morning and heading to Kenosha with the rest of the family in the afternoon. We're thankful for everyone and everything we have!
I'm sharing my last Christmas project for this year, a gift bag for my mom's presents. I was inspired by this card that I saw on Splitcoast.
The kraft bag was stamped with the snowflake from Patterned Pines in Real Red, Old Olive and Soft Suede. The panel has a piece of the flocked specialty paper from Christmas Cocoa. There's a piece of the 1 1/4 inch Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon that's wrapped up with a Circle Fire brad. I punched a piece of Whisper White with the Ornament punch. I stamped the leaf from Berry Christmas in Old Olive, the berries in Real Red, and "make merry" in Soft Suede. That's popped up with Stampin' dimensionals. The ribbon stamp was stamped in Versamark then embossed with Silver embossing powder. The tag is from Christmas Punch, layered on a piece of Old Olive punched from the Wide Oval punch.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas and Delightful Decorations, Christmas Punch, Patterned Pines
Papers: Whisper white, Old Olive, Real Red, Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers
Inks: Old Olive, Real Red, Soft Suede, Versamark
Accessories: Circle Fire brad, Ornament Punch, Scallop oval punch, Wide oval punch, 1 1/4 inch Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon, Silver embossing powder, Mistletoe ribbon, Stampin dimensionals

I used the Polka Dot background stamp (on the dormant list) to add something to the Real Red paper. Then I used the polka dot ornament stamp from Delightful Decorations to coordinate with all the dots. The Old Olive striped paper is from the Patterns Designer Series Papers. You gotta love punches too, they make for cute and quick cards! Here's my recipe:
