Mojo Monday Sketch#143 Ruby Thanks

This card was made for MOJO143 here and features card stock and a stamp set that will soon retire.
I stared with a base of Sahara Sand and used some patterned Sahara Sand from the Hostess Level 1 Patterns Pack III. The Ruby Red patterned papers are also from that Pack. I colored the "thank you" from Wow Flowers with the Ruby Red and Sahara Sand Stampin write markers and stamped that onto Whisper White card stock. Then I punched that out with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch. That was layered onto a Ruby Red piece punched with the sneak peek, 2 3/8 inch Extra-Large Scallop circle punch and popped up with some Stampin dimensionals. I also added some dots with the white gel pen. The four brads are from the Earth Elements brads. Finally, a piece of 5/8 Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Wow Flowers
Papers: Whisper white, Ruby Red, Sahara Sand, Patterns Pack III Hostess Level 1
Inks: Ruby Red and Sahara Sand Stampin write markers
Accessories: 1 3/4 inch circle punch, 2 3/8 inch Extra-large Scallop circle punch, Stampin dimensionals, white gel pen, 5/8 inch Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Earth Elements brads

Back to Stamping with Two Challenges!

I've been away from my stamping quarters too long! I did enjoy a quick get-away to Colorado Springs with my hubby though. Boy are those mountains beautiful!
I thought I'd use the PPA Theme Challenge here AND the Stamping 411 sketch here.
So I started with a base of Whisper White and added a rectangle of Real Red card stock. I stamped the triple star image from Starring You in Real Red classic ink on that Real Red card stock. I used a strip of Night of Navy from the Patterns Pack III Hostess set. Then I stamped the stars in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White. I colored one star with blender pens and Night of Navy ink and punched out a Real Red one with the Star punch and popped that up with a Stampin Dimensional. "Thank you" from Teeny Tiny wishes was stamped in Real Red, punched out with the Word Window punch and layered onto a Night of Navy piece punched with the Modern Label punch. Finally, a Silver brad was added for a little flair.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Starring You and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper white, Night of Navy, Real Red, Patterns Pack III Hostess set(Night of Navy)
Inks: Night of Navy and Real Red
Accessories: Star punch, Word Window and Modern Label punches, blender pen, Stampin dimensionals

Simple Sympathy Card

Unfortunately I've been asked to make some sympathy cards so I thought of the Patterns Pack III in Mellow Moss combined with Elegant Eggplant. I figured I might as well use up my Mellow Moss papers since it will be retiring in June.
I started with a piece of Mellow Moss card stock as the base and layered a piece of the Moss Patterns on top of that. I stamped the sentiment in Elegant Eggplant and the flowers were colored with Elegant Eggplant and Mellow Moss. "Thinking of you" from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Elegant Eggplant then punched with the Word Window punch. A piece of 1/4 inch Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Close as a Memory and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper white, Elegant Eggplant, Mellow Moss, Patterns Pack III DSP
Inks: Elegant Eggplant classic pad and Stampin write marker, Mellow Moss stampin write marker
Accessories: word window punch, 1/4 inch Elegant Eggplant grosgrain

Pickup Card for Two Challenges

I used Loads of Love to stamp the truck in Basic Black on some left over Soft Suede dsp from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers. A piece of Soft Suede was ran thru the Big Shot with the Backgrounds #1 texturz plates. I used a piece of Ruby Red from the Hostess Level 1 Patters Pack DSP III.
My Stamp-a-ma-jig came in handy to separate the sentiment. I punched the "pickup" part out with the Small Oval punch and layered that on a piece of Bashful Blue punched with the Large Oval. And the 1/2 inch Bashful Blue striped grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories
Papers: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Ruby Red, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP, Patterns Pack DSP III
Inks: Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Ruby Red and Soft Suede
Accessories: Small and Large Oval punches. blender pens, 1/2 inch Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon, Backgrounds 1 texturz plate

Splitcoast Color Combo #231 Mellow Snow Swirled

I made this card for the Splitcoast Color Combo #231 here. The colors are White, Kraft and Mellow Moss. I only have 2 sheets of Mellow Moss-obviously not one of my favorites. And I used the patterned Mellow Moss from the Level 1 Hostess Patterns Pack DSP III. The tree is from Snow Swirled. Looks a lot different than my card from yesterday doesn't it? I embossed the snowflakes with Versamark and Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder on Kraft and Mellow Moss.
I used the three snowflake stamp from the Christmas Punch Hostess set and the coordinating Boho Blossoms punch. A strip of Kraft was run through the Scallop Edge punch. The Merry Christmas greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I punched that out with the Word Window Punch and layered it onto a Mellow Moss piece punched with the Modern Label Punch.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Snow Swirled, Christmas Punch, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper White, Kraft, Mellow Moss, Pattern Pack DSP III
Inks: Mellow Moss, Versamark
Accessories: Clear Stampin' Emboss powder, Boho Blossoms punch, Scallop edge punch, word window punch, Modern label punch, 1/4 inch white grosgrain ribbon, white gel pen, Stampin' dimensionals

Stamping 411 All Star

I made this card for another Stamping 411 sketch here. I immediately thought of a star for the triangular element and then thought of the Sporting stamp set. This is a really great set for any athlete in your life. And you can pair it with any of the other sports sets on pages 78-80 of the Idea Book & Catalog.
I used the Night of Navy and Crushed Curry markers to color the stamp images. And the Large Star and Star punches layer perfectly. A silver brad finishes off the stars. And the small star image from Sporting fits perfectly in the Word Window punch.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Sporting
Papers: Whisper white, Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Patterns Pack III DSP, The Write Stuff Specialty
Inks: Crushed Curry and Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers, Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: 1/2 inch Crushed Curry grosgrain polka dot ribbon, Large Star and Star punches, Word window punch, silver brad, Stampin' dimensionals

Splitcoast Card Sketch #239

Another card for this sketch at Splitcoast. I decided to go mono-chromatic for this one and use the Really Rust patterns designer papers from the Level One hostess set. I also used the One of a Kind stamp set and the coordinating Boho Blossoms punch. This punch is awesome and helps make quick use of punching out stamped images.

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: One of a Kind

Papers: Whisper white, Really Rust, Really Rust Patterns Pack dsp III

Inks: Really Rust

Accessories: Boho blossoms punch, Stampin' dimensionals
