Today's card is for PPA#45 Inspiration Challenge here, Splitcoast sketch #283 here, and to showcase a few Stampin UP! products on the Last Chance lists and a returning In Color.
I started with a card stock base of Kraft (soon to be Crumb Cake) and ran that thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Details texturz plate. Tangerine Tango will be back in the new catty so I used that and some Old Olive Patterns Series DSP. I stamped the sold flower image in Tangerine Tango and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the other image and stamped that in Basic Black. The row of flowers was stamped in Tangerine Tango too. "Happiness" from Warm Words was stamped in Old Olive. Finally, a piece of Black gingham ribbon that will retire was added to finish it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: A Beautiful Thing and Warm Words
Papers: Whisper white, Kraft, Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive Patterns Series DSP
Inks: Basic Black, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Black gingham ribbon, Perfect Details texturz plate

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and punched it out with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch and layered it onto a 1 3/8 inch circle punched from Real Red. Finally, a piece of 1 inch Chocolate Chip double-stitched grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.

Dusty Durango Vintage Label Birthday

You can never have enough birthday cards on hand so I made this one with the SAB set, Vintage Labels. I started by running the Dusty Durango base thru the Big Shot with the diamond texturz plate(from the Backgrounds 1 set). Then I used a piece of Old Olive Patterns DSP. I pierced some holes thru the strip of Soft Suede and added that to the bottom of the Old Olive piece. I stamped the label in Soft Suede on Whisper White, punched that out with the Curly Label punch and trimmed it down a bit. Then stamped Happy Bday in Old Olive. That was layered on a piece of Soft Suede, again punched with the Curly Label. Finally, a piece of 1/2 inch Dusty Durango polka-dot grosgrain was added and the label popped up on Stampin' dimensionals.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Vintage Labels
Papers: Whisper white, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, Old Olive Patterns DSP

Splitcoast Sketch #254 Make Merry
I "made merry" for the Splitcoast Sketch #254 here. I know I'm a broken record here but I just love these sketches because it's too easy to trace the exact measurements onto card stock then create a quick and easy card! I used some Old Olive Patterns Paper and some Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper with the Berry Christmas stamp set. I broke up the sentiment and used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for that and to put the bird in the wreath.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Old Olive, Old Olive Patterns, Christmas Cocoa Specialty
Inks: Real red and Old Olive
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig

PPA#16 Christmas Cheer Patterned Pines

This one is for the PPA#16 Theme Challege: Christmas Cheer here. If this looks familiar it's because I CASEed it from the Holiday Mini on page 4. I did change it up a bit. I stamped one tree in Real Red and the other in Old Olive on Whisper White card stock then cut them out. I added a Real Red strip that was punched with the scallop edge punch. And the sentiment is from All Holidays. I'm loving the Sleigh Bells ribbon!
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Patterned Pines and All Holidays
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Old Olive and Old Olive Patterns
Inks: Real Red and Old Olive
Accessories: Sleigh Bells ribbon, scallop edge punch
Labels:

PPA #11 Color Challenge Pumpkin Card

I quickly whipped up this card for the PPA#11 Color Challenge here. The colors are Perfect Plum, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. So of course I had to use the Pumpkin Patch stamp set. I ran the Perfect Plum paper thru the Big Shot with the diamond pattern from the Backgrounds 1 texturz plates. Then just stamped the sentiment in Old Olive, punched that out with the Large Oval punch and layered that on the Scallop Oval punch. A strip of 1/2 inch Pumpkin Pie striped grosgrain ribbon and it's done. I used the layout from this card. See what different stamps and papers can do!
Here's my recipe:

Inks: Perfect plum, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip

Pals Paper Arts #10 Theme Challenge-Thanks

I made this one for the Pals Paper Arts #10 Theme Challenge of Gratitude and Thanks. I used the Falling Leaves set again because one of the leaves says "give thanks". And just because I love this set. I stamped the different leaves in Rich Razzleberry, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede. Then I punched them out with the 1 1/4 inch square punch and layered each square on the coordinating color card stock that I punched out with the 1 3/8 inch square punch. I popped up the Soft Suede leaf that says "give thanks" with Stampin' dimensionals. I used a rectangle of Old Olive Patterns paper and layered that on a piece of Old Olive card stock, one end of which is scalloped with the Scallop Edge punch. A little Soft Suede polka dot grosgrain ribbon, a bit of white gel pen dots and that's it.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Falling Leaves

Playing with Pumpkins
Now that September is almost over, I thought I'd kick it into Halloween mode. I actually put out my Halloween decorations in the house yesterday. For this card I used the Pumpkin Patch set. I also haven't used the Big Shot in a while so I got that out too. I ran Old Olive card stock thru the Big Shot with the diamond Texturz background plate. Then I ran a piece of Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White card stock thru with the Top Note die. I trimmed the Whisper White down a bit so the Pumpkin Pie would layer nicely. A strip of Old Olive Patterns Designer Series Papers ran thru the Top Note as well. And it's just my style to use a bit of ribbon and punches too. Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Pumpkin Patch
Papers: Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive Patterns DSP
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Accessories: 1/4 inch Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Large Oval and Scallop Oval punches, Top Note Die, Backgrounds #1 Texturz plates, Stampin' dimensionals
