This one is for PPA#50 a color challenge, here.
I wasn't too sure about this color combo but I actually like how this card turned out. But that's the great thing about challenges, right? You're challenged to get outta your comfort zone!
So I started with a card stock base of Basic Gray and ran that thru the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions embossing folder. I used the Top Note die to cut out two top notes in So Saffron and Whisper White. I trimmed down the white one and stamped the Medallion stamp on that with Chocolate Chip. I again stamped the Medallion in So Saffron and cut out the center. I added a yellow Circle Fire Rhinestone brad to the center. The greeting is from Occasional Quotes and that was stamped on So Saffron with Chocolate Chip and punched out with the XL Scallop Oval punch. A piece of Chocolate Chip was punched with the XL 2 by 1 3/8 oval punch and popped up with Stampin dimensionals. Finally, a piece of 5/8 inch Basic Gray taffeta finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Medallion, Occasional Quotes
Papers: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Basic Gray, So Saffron
Inks: Chocolate Chip and So Saffron
Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions embossing folder, Circle Fire Rhinestone brad, 5/8 inch Basic Gray taffeta ribbon, Stampin' dimensionals, XL Scallop oval punch, XL 2 by 1 3/8 oval punch

Stamping 411 #133 Medallion Wedding

I needed a wedding card so I used the Medallion stamp for this card and used the Stamping 411 sketch #133 here too.
I also used "For the Newlyweds" from Teeny Tiny Wishes and the "Best Wishes" and scallop image are from Vintage Labels. I stamped the scallop image in Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla then punched it out with the Scallop circle punch. I then stamped "Best Wishes" on Pretty in Pink then punched that out with the 1 inch circle punch and popped it up with some dimensionals. The pink patterned paper is from the Sending Love Specialty DSP. And the 5/8 inch Chocolate Chip satin ribbon is from the Occasions Mini.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Vintage Labels
Papers: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Sending Love Specialty DSP
Inks: Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink
Accessories: 5/8 inch Chocolate Chip satin ribbon, Word window punch, Modern label punch, 1 inch circle punch, Scallop circle punch, 1 3/4 inch circle punch, Stampin dimensionals

PPA#14-Pink Medallions
I made this card for the PPA#14 Challenge here. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness we were to use anything "pink". This card is in honor of my mother-in-law, Colleen who has battled and beat breast cancer. I thought of Melon Mambo and combined that with Chocolate Chip. I also used the new Medallion background stamp. I just stamped it on Whisper White in Melon Mambo then stamped on some scrap White in Chocolate Chip, repeated again with Melon Mambo then just layered the pieces. An Antique Brass brad from the Vintage brads finishes it off and some Melon Mambo 1/2 inch polka-dot grosgrain ribbon too! My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by breast cancer! Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Medallion and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Melon Mambo
Inks: Chocolate Chip and Melon Mambo
Accessories: 1/2 inch Melon Mambo grosgrain ribbon, Vintage brads
